Information of Project:
The project locates in Tuanshan Village, Xizhuang Town, 13 km from the downtown. There are continuous mountains in the back, and rich farmland in the front, while Lu River is cross the land from west to east, there is No. 323 National Highway and Meng-Bao Railway is nearby, which shows the convenient transportation and great natural and ecological environment.
Tuanshan Folk House is the typical family village, which was built in Qing Dynasty. It is kept well, there are 21 folk houses with total area 16160 m2. The folk houses are neat, tidy, flexible in arrangement and abundant in space, which show the stereotype of south Yunnan features and the rising history of the old private business.
Tuanshan Folk House is the important composition of Jianshui Folk House Museum. It is not only the living house, but also the witness of local people’s daily life as well as folk art exhibition, which have precious cultural value.
Tuanshan Folk House is well known to the world, and granted one of the 100 Endangered Ancient Ruins Inspection List, which shows that it is paid close attention to by the worldwide people. Moreover it also shows Tuanshan Folk House joint the international brand.

Construction Content and Scale:
1. 28 family within the area shall be removed;
2. Update the ancient building and some folk house with the area 20000 m2;
3. Tear down the buildings in-harmony with the modern building, decrease the building density and leave enough space for greening, planting fruit, vegetable etc.;
4. Renovate and increase the washing room, parking and other supporting facilities;
5. Set up water, power supply, road, drain and fire-fighting system;
6. New district development

Preliminary Progression:
Jianshui National Famous History City- Tuanshan Folk House Protection Plan and the Feasibility Report on Jianshui County Tuanshan Famous History Village Protection and Development Project have been finished. The road construction, removal of Tuanshan Primary School, Zhang’ Ancestral Hall and Park and 3 Village Gates have been completed.

Economic and Social Benefit Assessment:
1. Economic Benefit:
Tuanshan Folk House integrated the cultures of central plains of China and frontier minorities, which has high research and cultural value. It is an ideal place to appreciate ancient folk house and historical ruins. After the project put into operation, there will be 250 thousand tourists, if the average consumption is 35 Yuan, the total income will reach 8.75 million.
2. Social Benefit:
Tuanshan Folk House Protection and Development Construction Project will intensify its                      cultural connotation, leave tourists the unprecedented experience, enrich the local tourism products as well as enhance the economic development.
