Investment Highlights - > One million tons/year of Sulfur-based NPK Compound Fertilizer Production

I. Brief Introduction to the Project
Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (NPK) compound fertilizer is a high concentrated ternary compound fertilizer mainly used as base fertilizer and warmly welcomed on the market. By 2010, binary and ternary compound fertilizer will make up 30% of the total, when the demand for such fertilizer will total 12.5 million tons (including seven million tons of ternary compound fertilizer).
II. Construction Scale
To produce one million tons/year of sulfur-based NPK compound fertilizer, of which that in the first phase is to produce 500,000 tons of 15-15-15 compound fertilizer per year with a phosphoric acid plant being set up.
III. Process and the Consumption of Raw Materials
To adopt the low-temperature conversion process, namely the dihydrate process.
IV. Investment Budgetary Estimate
The estimated gross investment is 576 million Yuan, of which 288 million Yuan is for the first phase.
V. Mode of Cooperation
Exclusive investment, joint venture, or cooperative development.
