Project Profile:
A ship lock of 10,000-ton level is planned to construct on the south of the present ship lock in order to speed up the growth of inland port areas of Haihe River, develop port areas of Haihe River and enhance the connection of the port with the sea. The new lock is parallel to the old one with the distance of 120 meters between the central lines of the two locks. The lock is 225 meters in length, 28 meters in width and -9 meters in elevation. It is available to pass one 10,000-ton ship and one tugboat, or one 5000-ton ship and one 2000-ton ship, or two 3000-ton combined ships.

A 10,000-ton ship lock will be built.
