I. Brief Introduction to the Project
Belonging to machine manufacturing industry, the project is planned to set up a isostatic pressing bushing production line and two isostatic pressing bar product lines, with the production capacity of 2,800 252~550-KV porcelain bushings, and 20,000 126~550-KV porcelain solid-core post insulators.
After the project was put into operation, 5,322 tons of electric porcelain materials will be needed a year, mainly including Zuoyun soil, Zhangcun soil, feldspar, bauxite etc. In addition, the project will also need 710 tons of metal flanges and 55×106 cubic meters of coal gas per year. The gas can be supplied by the gas station of the factory. The existing electric installed capacity is 30,000 KW, and another 800 KW is needed for this project. The 100,000 tons of water needed by the project can be drawn from the factory itself.
The construction site is just in within the enterprise, which occupies a land of 7,776 square meters.
The construction of the project will last 1.5 years. And the total investment reaches 102 million Yuan, including 93 million Yuan of construction investment, as well as nine million Yuan of initial working capital. The annual production value roughly will come to 105.2 million Yuan and within five years the investment is expected to be paid back.
II. Construction Advantages
Zuoyun Tian’an Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., with nearly a decade of experience of production, has been professional in producing solid-core post insulators. Owing to the confirming quality and stable properties of the enterprise’s products, set marketing channels have come into being. Moreover, the enterprise has complete infrastructure, such as water, electricity and gas supplies.
Zuoyun County is abundant in clay for electric porcelain, known as Zuoyun soil, while the supplier of feldspar powder is only 200 km far from the factory. The raw materials here are of low price and high quality, so the construction conditions are rather advantageous.
III. Progression of the Preliminary Work of the Project
The feasibility study report of the isostatic pressing production project designed by China Machinery International Engineering Design & Research Institute has been approved by Development and Reform Commission of Shanxi Province and passed the environmental appraisal carried out by the Bureau of Environmental Protection of Shanxi Province.
IV. Mode of Cooperation
The project is to attract 100 million Yuan as capital; when it comes to mode of cooperation, it may be joint stock system providing the stock ownership is controlled by the Chinese Side.
V. A Survey of the Project Undertaker
Zuoyun Tian’an Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., as a private enterprise with the registered capital totaling 10.14 million Yuan, was set up by restructuring Zuoyun High-voltage Electric Porcelain Factory at the end of Nov. 2003. There are 378 employees, and Jia Fengxiang is the legal representative. By the end of last year, the company had possessed total assets of 98.61 million Yuan, among which 52.38 million served as the circulating capital, and 28.42 million as net fixed assets. The total debts were 72.72 million Yuan, consisting of 40.16 million Yuan of current liabilities and 32.56 million Yuan of long-term debts. The total equity of investors was 25.89 million Yuan; and the sales income realized reached 20.51 million Yuan with the profits of 1.42 million Yuan. According to the operations objectives of 2006 made by the company, the gross industrial output value will come to 38 million Yuan; 35 million Yuan of sales income is planned to be realized, including eight million Yuan of profit and tax.
