Project Investment and Economic Benefits Estimation: The gross investment is 34 million Yuan including 16 million Yuan for the extraction and processing of gingko ingredients used in medicine, 10 million Yuan for the development and production of a series of gingko-related food, 8 million Yuan for construction of the gingko comprehensive exchange market. After the whole project finished, the annual output will exceed a hundred million Yuan, profit and tax 20 million Yuan including 6 million Yuan for enterprises. And the investment payback period will be 6 years.

There are 12,000 mu of gingko planted in patches and 4.5 million ones scattered around the city, among which there are 13 ones over 500 years and 5 ones over 1,000 years. The ancient gingko in Gaoming Town is even over 1,600 years. The annual output of gingko nuts of the whole city is over 1,500 tons and the production scale of the project location---Wuku Town accounts for 1/10 of the total. The gingko market of that town has some influence in East China with 1,200 tons of nuts and 600,000 gingko seedlings sold per year. The gingko industry of our city is not only blessed with a long history but also a magnificent scale and broader market.
