The Taipin Mountain, used to be called Siluo Mountain, is located at the boundary of Jinxin and Hubei Provinces north of Wuning County in Jiangxi Province. Taiping Mountain is connected with the ridges of Jiugong Mountain, the national scenic area, and they both belong to the Mountain range of Mufu. The altitude of Taiping Mountain is 1329 meters, and the highest peak called Qianshuili with an altitude of 1344.1 meters, which covers an area of 20 square kilometers, involving the combination of the grand, magnificent, handsome, beautiful, wonderful, distinctive and dangerous traits; there are abundant scenes of nature and humanity and it is the famous site of Taoism and for summer travel. There are the Jigaoming Pavilion, the Beiji Mountain, the Dragon Mountain, the Tortoise Mountain, the Crane Mountain, the Gucha Stream, the Yunqi Peak, the Lei rock, the Sanxian Mountain Slope, the Langmei, the Yidong, the Lupao Spring, the Wulei Peak, the Dragon Gate, the Menglao Pond, the Lion Rock, the Wutong Rock, the Gourd Stone, the Huji Stone, the Baochi Stone, the Shiren Cave and the Xianji Stone, etc, totally more than 22 scenic spots. The poet Jiexisi in Yuan dynasty composed the Poem The Odd Chant of Taiping Mountain for each scenic spot after touring the Mountain, In which the total 22 chants are passed down to the present.

According to the historical document, A Taoist priest in Jiangxi called Zhangquansun established the Taoist rite in the Mountain, and constructed three Palaces( the Yousheng Palace, the Wansheng Palace and the Xuandi Palace), a pavilion( the Liandan Pavilion). After his death, The Emperor Lizong in Nansong Dynasty honored him as "the Taipin Celestial God, the found of the Religion Ren). The stone statues of gods are the carving of Song Dynasty with totally 25 items, including the Five Immortals, the Ten Thunder Gods, and each vivid statue was stored at Yousheng Palace, together with the Iron Bells of Yuan Dynasty, the Incense Burners and Sacrificial vessels of Qing Dynasty 

The Profile of Construction: According to the culture of Taoism and the cultural essence of mountains and rivers, IT is planned to construct 10 areas with the focuses of the TaiPing Lake Hotel, the Shimen Rock Grotto and the Yousheng Palace, which include the service area of Taipin Lake, the Taoist Zone, the Spa Area and the Waterfall sighting, etc, totally 18 scenic spots.

The Market Analysis: The Scenic Tour Area of Taipin Mountain is one of the important scenic areas in Wuning County, and located within the Jiugong Mountain of Tuolin Lake, The Golden tour circle of the Jiangxi and Hubei Provinces with huge potential of development. In 2003, the Tuolin Lake entertained 400 thousand travelers, and Jiugong Mountain Entertained 40 thousand travelers and with 16 thousand worshipper of Taoism. After the completion of the scenic area, it can entertain at least more than 200 thousand travelers annually.
