11. The brief introduction of the project: with a long breeding history, the Tibetan tasty pigs give priority to herding, similar to the traditional herding. The Tibetan tasty pigs are of mixed feeding habit and strong wild viability, feeding on forest, wild fruits, roots and leaves. The pork is tender with thin skin and high proportional muscle, and the price of it now is as high as 40 Yuan/kg with its supply falling short of demand. Hence, it is of favorable potential to develop the breeding and production of the Tibetan tasty pigs. The scale of the construction: building three pigs breeding bases covering an area of 4,500 square meters; constructing a feed processing factory with an area of 500 square meters, and houses and offices building with an area of 900 square meters; the construction of the epidemic prevention network system.
