The brief introduction of the project: due to the influence of the special geographic position featuring the high mountain and valleys, the vertical distribution of the climate and plants of the Nyingchi County is extremely clear, and the warm and wet air current of the Indian Ocean extends through the Brahmaputra River, so the climate there is dry in the winter and wet in the summer, which provide superior eco-environment for the growth of the wild medicinal materials. In addition, the quality of the medicinal materials is comparatively high and the geographical environment and water and soil are all suitable for the development of the planting industry of the Tibetan medicinal materials. The scale of the construction: the construction of 100 mu of Tibetan medicinal materials cultivating base and the alteration of the farmland, the construction of the 55,000 mu of Tibetan medicinal materials planting and protection base, 10 km of accessory penstock and 67,000 meters of netting enclosure, building a protection forest with 1,000 trees, 200 person times’ science and technology training, and building two medicinal reserve storeroom, five mu of bleachery for the medicinal materials and three high efficient and economical greenhouses.
