Project Resources: Qinghai Province is one of the important national production bases of ferrosilicon and silicon metal and the annual output can reach 500,000 tons, with high-quality products and relatively low prices, which can provide raw materials for the polysilicon project.

Construction Conditions: The site of the project is planned to be in Gandu Town, Hualong County and there are three big- and medium-sized power plants nearby including Gongboxia, Suzhi, Huangfeng, generating nearly 10 billion degrees of electricity. The selected site is less than five kilometers away from the power supply and the power price is low. The location has convenient transport conditions and we can use the existing wasteland with no acquisition costs while the product is a typical high-energy product and low-power resources can guarantee lower production costs.

Production Technology: it is planned to introduce currently advanced international production techniques and technologies.

Market Prediction: polysilicon is the basic raw material of producing silicon and the basic material of modern microelectronics industry. The domestic productive capacity is only 2,000 or 3,000 tons and there is great market potential.

Investment Scale: the gross investment is one billion Yuan.

Economic Benefits: After the project goes into operation, the annual sales income will reach 780 million Yuan and profits 230 million Yuan.
