Project Content: an annual output of one million pieces of car wheels
Project Resources: Qinghai province is a great production base of aluminum around the country. Currently, Asia's largest electrolytic aluminum plant-China Aluminum Qinghai branch has been built--Qinghai Branch China Aluminum Co.,Ltd with an annual output of 350,000 tons of electrolytic aluminum. Plus other established electrolytic aluminum plant in the province (Qiaotou Aluminum Electricity Co.,Ltd, Evergreen Aluminum Co., Ltd, PAI Aluminum Company, Tongren Aluminum Co., Ltd, Haibei Aluminum, etc), the production capacity of electrolytic aluminum will reach 1,053,000 tons by the end of 2005, accounting for one-sixth of the country's output. However, Qinghai Province currently boasts only two manufacturers of aluminum products with an annual production capacity of only 46,000 tons of aluminum materials, low value-added with few varieties and low grades. And most of aluminum ingots are sold to other provinces.
Construction Condtions: The production base is planned to be in Ledu County. The region is an important production base of the former Ministry of Machine Building Industry, with various infrastructure facilities, human resources and strong supporting capacity. Qinghai province and Haidong Region is rich in electric power resources at low prices.
Production Techbology: By means of casting aluminum-magnesium die-casting technology and mature domestic supporting technology and equipment.
Market Distribution: Domestic and international market
Investment Scale: the gross investment is estimated to be 160 million Yuan.
Economic Beneftis: After the project finished and put into operation, the annual sales income will reach 250 million Yuan, average annual profits 26 million Yuan, average value-added taxes 11 million Yuan and average annual income 5 million Yuan.
