Project Content: to build equipment, workshop and supporting facilities with production lines producing 20 million square meters of plasterboard.

Project Resources: Huzhu County is rich in gypsum resources, Haidong Region has a gypsum reserve of 2.3 billion tons, Huzhu County has a gypsum reserve of 2.1 billion tons, with an average grade of over 75% which are the best materials for plaster board.

Construction Condtions: Huzhu County , located in the east of Qinghai Province and 30 km from the provincial capital--Xining city, has good traffic conditions with multiple road accesses.

Production Technology: plaster board production technological innovation, including grinding calcined gypsum technology, foam and molding technology, gypsum board drying technology. Making use of these new technologies can improve the grade and quality of plaster board, save energy, reduce costs, reduced investment, and improve the production environment.

Market Prediction: Domestic plaster board market is in the phase of rapid growth. First, the market consumption volume continues to expand. It’s initially estimated that the consumption of plaster board in the coming five years will increase at the rate of around 20% which has great potential for development. Second, the relevant industrial policies become more complete, such as product standards, the state restrictions on the use of clay brick, which will energetically promote the wider use of gypsum plaster board.   

Investment Scale: The gross investment is estimated to be 121 million Yuan.

Economic Benefits: After the project finished, the annual sales income will reach 150 million Yuan, taxes 6.79 million Yuan, profits 49.14 million Yuan and the investment payback period will be 3.85 years.
