Necessity and advantage of the project construction：
The construction of A’tashan reservoir is the key control project to form kundulun River area particular the Jinshan town section and downstream flood control system. It can relieve the threat of flood. The reservoir can protect 740000 people, increase 110500 Mu agricultural area and relieve the flood control pressure of downstream kundulun reservoir. The project plays a strategic role in water & soil reservation and ecological construction and is of realistic significance to solve the contradiction between supply and demand of Jinshan town’s serious insufficient water resources.
Construction scale and content:The project is medium scale reservoir with maximum 39 meters high at the dam, 247 meters at the top of the dam, and total capacity 65.24m³
Total investment and fund raising:100 million total investment, including 20 million Yuan bonds, 8.86 local funds and other is attracted.
Economic benefits:After the completion of the project, 24 million m3 water reservoir will be increased and 5.5 million m3 water can be supplied to Jinshan town, which greatly solves the contradiction between supply and demand of Jinshan town’s serious insufficient water resources with remarkable economic and social benefits.
