North Baotou is bordering Mongolia with borderline 88.6 kilometers. In recent years, Baotou has got breakthrough in advantageous industries and key projects like steel and lanthanon, brought the port advantage into play, and drived the fast development of port processing industry and service industry. Bai-Man road is the only passway from Baotou downtown to Mandula port. With the development of local economy, Mandula port’s cargo capacity considerably increased and the road transportation is far short of the need of port economic development. Therefore, it is planned to transform Bailingmiao-Mandula road.
