Baotou’s neighboring cities and provinces don’t have scaled convention & exhibition facilities. So developing convention & exhibition industry is of important significance to improving the role of Baotou as a center city, enhancing the radiation, magnetism and cohension of Baotou to neighboring districts. According to Baotou’s size and economic conditions, it can hold over 30 varied exhibitions and over 30 varied conventions.
Construction scale and content
Baotou International Convention & Exhibition Center covers 100000 m2 with floor area 50000 m2. including exhibition hall, convention center, exhibitors service system, business service system, outdoor exhibition field and parking lot, square, Greenland and roads.
Total investment and fund raising:290 million total investments are all attracted
Economic benefits: After the completion of the project, annual business revenue 200 million Yuan can be achieved and profit and tax are 29 million Yuan
Preliminary work:  Development and Reform Committee of Inner Mongolia Autonomous District approved the project.
