Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China released Announcement No.35, 2003 on Aug 6, 2003, deciding to impose anti-dumping duty on imported coated woodfree originated from South Korea and Japan. Anti-dumping duty rate applicable to OJI Paper Co., Ltd. is 56 percent.
OJI Paper Co., Ltd. submitted application of mid-term review to Ministry of Commerce on Sep 5, 2007, claiming that the dumping margin had decreased after the implementation of the anti-dumping measures, and asking for mid-term review of dumping and dumping margin on anti-dumping measures applicable to the company.
In accordance with regulations of Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China and Provisional Rules on Mid-term Review of Dumping and Dumping Margin, Ministry of Commerce investigated related situation. OJI Paper Co., Ltd. submitted required supplementary materials in time limit.
In line with investigation, Ministry of Commerce believes that the application of OJI Paper Co., Ltd. has provided primary evidence of decreasing of dumping margin, which complies with regulations of Article 49 of Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China and requirements of Article 6 to 10 of Provisional Rules on Mid-term Review of Dumping and Dumping Margin. Ministry of Commerce decides to carry out review on anti-dumping measures of investigated commodity from OJI Paper Co., Ltd. Related issues are now announced as follows:
Investigated commodity: Coated Woodfree with tariff codes of 48101300, 48101400 and 48101900
Investigation period: Oct 1, 2006 to Sep 30, 2007
Scope of review: normal value of investigated commodity, export price and dumping margin.
