ECB Quaden: Eurozone Growth Could Slow Faster Than Thought
BRUSSELS (MNI) - The eurozone economy could slow down at a faster rate than the European Central Bank considered likely in December, ECB Governing Council member Guy Quaden warned Thursday. In dovish comments to reporters following the publication of the Belgian National Bank's annual report, Quaden also hinted that the ECB's March staff GDP forecasts were likely to be revised downwards and he stressed the downside risks .
