1. Project Content : The asynchronous motor adopts the new high-voltage pole chang winding developed according to the newly proposed alternating winding theory. Rotor winding adopts the new complex non-inductive winding, needing no slip ring, and electric brush to join, thus reducing starting electric current and improving the starting torque, hence obtaining both high operation efficiency and good starting. It is used as power drive equipment for coal mill, breaker, Ying’s mill, ore dressing ball mill widely used in power industry, building materials and metallurgical industries. After the project is completed, it will have the annual producing capacity of 1000 grinder asynchronous motors and 1000 high-voltage grinder asynchronous motors
2. Investment Estimation and Financing Scheme : The total investment of the project is 3.125 million US dollars. The project unit will invest in the form of self owned cash, land, and other fixed assets, and foreign investment with cash only.
3. Economic and Aocial Benefits: After the project is completed, the annual sales income is 25 million US dollars, with 2.5 million dollars as annual net profit. The payback period of investment is 2.73 years.
4. General Information of the Project Company: Dali Industrial Control Co.Ltd of Xiangfan (the former Xiangfan Research Institute of Sensor Monitoring Technology) is one of the first five state-level new high-tech enterprises of Xiangfan and ISO9001 quality system certificated enterprises. It has bens engaged in the research, products development, popularization and application of the technology of starting, governing and economical operation of the large-and-middle-scale motors for a long time, and has formed the industrial structure characterized by the large motor-driven technology. In 2002, a control research and development centre was set up with Central China University of Science and Technology. The technological force is profound .The company has undertaken two projects of state-level Torch Program at present: "high-voltage thermistor " used in the soft start of large-scale motor and " SPM intelligent still phase advancer " used for energy-conservation operation control of large-scale motors. There are 340 workers now in the company, with USD 7.5 million fixed assets and more than 200 sets of main production equipment. There are high-quality staff workers dealing with research and development, production, craft, technology , quality control and technological service. Among them are 4 state-level experts, 32 senior engineers, 94 engineers, and 55 professional and technical personnel in other fields and administration. In addition, there are production and checkout equipment and complete products quality certification system that are needed in the whole course of production including material supply, parts process , purchase components and parts test , products assemble , products inspectation ,etc. The products are welcomed in more than 1,000 enterprises of the country, and also exported to nearly ten countries and regions such as Russia, Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.. In 2005, the company has achieved its sales value of nearly USD 10 million worth of products, and profit tax is more than USD 2.5 million dollars.
5. Current Status: It is a newly built project. (1) Sample testing, new technology checking, function monitoring and standards making have already been finished for the low-voltage electrical motor; and sample testing and research will be conducted for the high-voltage electrical motors at the next step. (2) Workshops, storehouses, and office buildings of 14,900 m2 have been completed in construction. (3) Publicity of the products is under way. The products are energy-saveing, producing no wastes in the production process, thus having no affect on environment.
