1. Background of the Project: There's 150,000 mu of aquafarm, with an annual output of 20,000 tons of aquatic products, including 2,000 tons of whitebait and shrimp. Laohekou Yinkang Aquiculture Co., Ltd. owns water surface areas of over 30,000 mu suitable for fish breeding. Now the introduction of big whitebait and New whitebait from Tai Lake to the Xipaizhihe reservoir of 50,000 mu is a big success and has made remarkable economic benefits. For its high quality, whitebait and other "Lihuahu"Brand products have been ranked as no-social-effect-pollution food it is exported to Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, other countries and regions as well as large inshore cities. The project aims at making full use of the present resources and technology of whitebait development, cultivating the fine fishing water area by promoting the breeding of whitebait, exporting such products and setting up complete system of breeding, processing and selling. To develop the water resouces of Xipaizihe River, it'll make whitbait and other aquatic product has a famous trade mark in the international market. Accordingly, the additional value of 1 kg whitebait will increase 20 RMB.
