1. Project Content: It is to build an assembly line of producing 200 million new type hollow bricks per year, which will adopt the technology and equipment of Zibo, Shandong Province. The technology and equipment have passed the state-level confirmation, and gradually been popularized and used in Hubei Province, with obviously good effect.

Investment Estimation and Financing Scheme: The total investment is planned to be $7.5 million, mainly for equipment and circulation fund.The investment of the equipment is $4 million, and the investment of circulation fund is $3.5 million, which account for 53% and 47% of the total investment respectively. Therefore the investor can put its fund once only for equipment or for circulation.
3. Economic and Social Benefits: 1). The project period: It is planned to start construction in April, 2006, project period is 5 months, and it can be put into production by September this year. 2). Economic benefits: After put into operation, the project is designed to produce 20 million new hollow bricks per year,with the sales income per year $10 million, the profit tax per year $400,000, and the net profit $300,000. The recovery period of investment is 2.5 year, the rate of profit tax is 40 %, and the profit rate is over 30%. 3). The Advantages of the Project (1) The project site is in Chengguan Town Brick & Tile Factory, so it has regional superiority.(2) Gucheng County is a key county in the Northwestern part of Hubei for its future development, so it is under rapid development with great market potential.(3) The project site stands in a key enterprise of provincial- level brick industry, which covers more than 40 mu. And the factory construction site and offices are available, so it has the superiority in running a new factory. (4) By the year of 2008, all the clay and solid brick products will be banned, and the new building materials are obliged to use, therefore it can be developed with the policy inclination.
4. General information of the project unit: The Gucheng Chengguan Brick and Tile Factory, built in 1979, lay in the suburbs of county town, which covers about 40 an area of mu. It has developed more than 30 years, with a lot of professional technicians with excellent technology in brick and tile production. In addition, the clay bricks produced by this factory have been exempted from examination. And the infrastructure facilities, including the supply of water, electricity, road and communications are avaible.
5. Current Status: The project is supported by the state policy, and if it can be supported by the foreign investment, the implementation of the project will be quickened.
