1. Background of the Project: With the range of 150 kilometers near LongZhong Scenic Spots, there are three important scenic spots of the state's rank such as WuDang Mountain, ShenNong Mountain and Emperor Yan's cemetery. Xiangfan is the central axis of the tourism economic belt of Hubei, Shichuan , Henan and Shanxi. Adjacent to Jingzhou in the east, to the great Three-Georges in the south, to Chongqin in the west and to Xi'an and Luoyang in the north, Xiangfan is planning to take LongZhong as the central spots, establish a golden tourism economic circle in the southwest of Hubei provice, thus we can build LongZhong into a comprehensive spots which assembled cultural enjoy, modern relaxation, ecological environment altogether and into a tourism concentrated center of the state's rank.
2. Project Contents and Scope: The village will be constructed after the model of the Eight Diagrams Village of Lanxi country, Zhejiang province. A Taiji-typed pond will stand in the middle of the village. Zhuge temple can also be located there. In the temple, there is a dispensary with doctors of tradition Chinese medicine serving for the tourists. Other buildings will be used for reception and living. They will be given the name of Zhuge House. All the furnishings in the house should be fitted out according to the living of Han dynasty. Lighting facilities and bathroom should be designed as modern manner. Staffs should dress the clothing just like that of Han dynasty. Besides catering trade, we can arrange tourist to enjoy the performance of sword dance, tapestry and local play. We can also develop specialized productions for tourists.
3. The Present Progressing Situation: The whole plan which includes the project has been demonstrated by the experts from the state, Hubei province and the local city of Xiangfan. It has formally been approved to build. Now the preparation work and the work of inviting outside investment are being carried out. Construction period is 1.5 years, and the pay back Period for the Investment is 4.5 years.
4. Market Analysis: The investigation to LongZhong tourists has indicated the 55.8 percent of them like to travel by the way of relaxation and holiday. At present, there is no traveling, relaxing and amusement center with perfect facilities and comprehensive functions in and around Xiangfan city. This situation will provide broad market space for the development of LongZhong scenic spots.
