I. A Survey of the Project
i. Construction scale & content: to produce 600 million gangue and fly ash sintered serial hollow bricks, including sintered load-bearing hollow bricks, non-load-bearing serial bricks like floor tiles, slope protection bricks, parking bricks, lawn bricks.
ii. Implementation scheme of construction conditions, raw and auxiliary materials, and public facilities: the construction land has been leased and leveled; the water and electricity supply is available; the sink well has started to be dug. Shaanxi Baoshen Architecture Material Mechanism (Group) Co.,Ltd. has been commissioned to customize 424 national standard machines for the project. The design plan is being made in Guiyang Building Material Research & Design Institute (qualification: national A class). As for the raw material gangue, permanent agreement has been concluded between the project undertaker and Datong Zhongxin Energy Resources Co., Ltd., which, according to the agreement, will provide gangue freely.
iii. Site selection, regional conditions and land occupied: the construction site is located in the disused brick factory in Qianjing Village, Huayuantun Town, Datong City. 500 mu of slope fields and alkaline lands are available.
iv. Techniques and pattern selection plan for major equipment: Gangue will be processed with the impact hammer crusher plus the electromagnetic vibrating screen, while clay with the high speed grinding roller. After raw materials mixed, they will be intensively processed with the strong stirring machine, mechanized aging tank, and then reprocessed by remixing. The pug after aging process has been improved in its physical properties and evenly mixed with proper size grading, which, therefore, can meet the demand of quality for producing gangue sintered hollow bricks.
Forming method: to form adobes plastically with the JZK50/50-3.5 two-stage vacuum extruder, which has a strong adaptability for mixtures with various properties; and the adobes produced from which are of high quality. The molded clay-strips then are to be synchronously processed by the automatic strip cutting machine and the automatic cutting table.
Drying process: the drying process will be carried out in the positive pressure moisture discharge tunnel dryer.
Calcination techniques: according to the reality of the project, the three-centered arch tunnel kiln, with large output, low investment and high productivity, will be adopted. One kiln (with two tunnels) can make 60 million pieces of bricks per year. With the calcination way of internal combustion (spontaneous combustion of gangue), thermal schedule is quite stable and the up-to-standard rate is very high.
v. Gross investment and its compostion: 250 million Yuan of capital will be needed, which, during the construction period, will be put into the construction by stages from Hong Kong or Shenzhen. By present, 150 million Yuan is ready.
vi. Economic benefits prediction: annual production value: 120~150 million Yuan; profit and tax: 52.75~60 million Yuan.
