I. Brief introduction:
One of the large-scale thermal power station projects of the national Eighth Five—Year Plan, Ziling Power Station is considered the ideal site for the construction of power station near coal mines and by the experts organized by the previous National Planning committee. The sites for Ziling Power Station and Qinbei Power Station were selected, expounded and verified simultaneously and listed by China in its general plan of 7200 MW installed capacity of Qinbei, Jiaozuo City (originally named No.2 Qinbei Power Station). The Middle China Electricity Web Bureau has agreed to put Ziling Power Station into its Eleventh Five—Year Plan. The Project plans to employ supercritical electricity generating unit with an installed capacity of 5,400 MW. The total investment is around 21.6 billion RMB.
